Diaza Places Two Teams in the UPSL Final Four
Irvine, CA — January 2026 — The UPSL Fall 2025 National Playoffs have reached their decisive stage, and Diaza Football will be strongly represented at the highest level of the competition, with two Diaza teams advancing to the Final Four of the league’s national championship.
After months of intense competition across the country, New York Renegades and Next Level Soccer remain among the final four teams still standing in the hunt for a semi-professional national title. Both clubs will compete this weekend at the UPSL National Finals, hosted at Championship Soccer Stadium in Irvine, California, where the 2025 season champion will be crowned.
For Diaza, the moment reflects not only competitive success, but the continued growth of a brand deeply connected to clubs that prioritize structure, ambition, and long-term vision.

New York Renegades: Built for Big Moments
Representing New York City, the Renegades earned their place in the National Finals following a resilient campaign in the Northeast American North Conference, finishing third with six wins in ten matches.
Led by Junior Rosero, a perennial regional top scorer, the Renegades peaked at the right time. Their playoff run included statement victories over NY Braveheart and former UPSL National Finalists Chicago Nation, proving their ability to rise in high-pressure environments.
That momentum now carries them into a National Semifinal matchup against Miami United on January 30, with a place in the championship match on the line.

Next Level Soccer: Consistency, Discipline, Results
Out of Phoenix, Arizona, Next Level Soccer arrives in Irvine as the only undefeated team remaining in the UPSL. The Arizona Premier Division champions posted nine wins and one draw during the regular season, conceding just seven goals along the way.
Their postseason path has been equally impressive, highlighted by wins over California powerhouses SoCal United and San Diego International FC. With a composed, disciplined style and balance across the field, Next Level has established itself as one of the most complete teams in the league.
A Familiar Stage for Diaza
Having two teams in the Final Four is a significant achievement but not an unfamiliar one for Diaza.
“This is not new territory for Diaza,” said Diego Hurtado, Founder of Diaza Football. “Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of supporting teams that reached and won UPSL National Finals, including winners Maryland Bobcats, Atletico Atlanta, and New York Contour. Being back at this stage with two clubs reinforces why we believe so strongly in this league and its ecosystem.”
Hurtado also highlighted the league’s role in the broader soccer landscape:
“It’s very important for Diaza to be deeply involved in a league like UPSL, one that continues to grow year after year. Supporting our teams as they compete at the highest level of the competition is part of our DNA.”
For Hurtado, the National Finals also carry a personal meaning.
“The UPSL National Finals bring back special memories for me,” he added. “I was fortunate to win a national championship as a player with the New York Contour in 2021, also in California. Moments like these stay with you forever and it’s incredibly meaningful to now experience them from the other side, supporting teams as a brand.”
What’s Next
The UPSL National Finals weekend kicks off on Friday, January 30, with the National Semifinals, followed by the National Championship Final on Sunday, February 1, all at Championship Soccer Stadium in Irvine.
Fans across the country can watch every match live and free on the official UPSL YouTube channel.
As the season reaches its climax, Diaza will be there, backing its teams, celebrating the journey, and continuing its commitment to clubs that push the game forward.
Two teams. One brand. One national stage.
